Gaming Legends Tournament Rules

1. Tournament Format

Participants: 8 Captains will lead their teams in the tournament.
Auction: A live-streamed auction will be held where Captains will select their players.

2. Group Stage

Teams: 8 Teams will compete.
Format: Round Robin (Everyone plays everyone).
Matches can be either Best of 1 (BO1) or Best of 2 (BO2), depending on the consensus.
Scoring:
BO1: 1 point for a win, 0 points for a loss.
BO2: 3 points for a 2-0 win, 1 point for a 1-1 draw, 0-2 points for a loss.
Advancement: The top 4 teams from the Group Stage will advance to the Semi-Finals.

3. Semi-Finals

Format: Best of 3 (BO3).
Matchups:
The 1st placed team from the Group Stage will face the 4th placed team.
The 2nd placed team will face the 3rd placed team.
Advancement: Winners of the Semi-Finals will advance to the Finals.


4. Finals

Format: Best of 3 (BO3).
The winning team of the Finals will be crowned the Tournament Champion.
